Brook Mishler, Case IQ's new Director of Compliance Solutions - Life Sciences, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping others to her role. Her unique background, transitioning from nursing to a distinguished career in medical device sales, medical education, training, and compliance, positions her perfectly to understand and address the evolving needs of legal and compliance in the life sciences sector.
Brook's professional journey began as a nurse. Thirteen years ago, she transitioned into the medical device industry, starting as a clinical specialist and moving into sales and physician education. Her career progression continued with roles as a sales training manager before she joined the legal and compliance team as a business partner. When her company was divested, she stepped into a leadership position, ultimately becoming the compliance officer for the Americas for the same medical device company. This diverse experience has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the operational and regulatory landscapes faced by life sciences organizations.
As the Global Director of Compliance Solutions at Case IQ, Brook's primary objective is to assist teams in life sciences companies in tackling critical challenges that make their work processes ineffective and inefficient. She aims to help organizations modernize their compliance programs by providing tools that automate and streamline processes and program requirements, allowing professionals to prioritize essential tasks and adopt a proactive, rather than reactive, approach.
Mishler emphasizes her role, stating, "it's my job to help compliance professionals, HR professionals, and legal professionals in the life sciences space solve those challenges that we're facing in risk management, risk mitigation, risk assessment, increasing efficiencies in the day-to-day workflows of approvals, disclosures, third party risk management, monitoring and other things to move the program in a modern direction."
Brook's decision to join Case IQ was deeply personal and aligned with her innate desire to help and teach. Having been an end-user of Lextegrity (acquired by Case IQ in January 2025) for over three years, she personally experienced the value these tools brought to her previous company's day-to-day operations. She recognized an opportunity to empower her peers in legal, compliance, and HR by providing them with software that streamlines their daily tasks and improves program efficiency.
Mishler explains her motivation: "I chose to come to Case IQ because I naturally, as a nurse, like to help people."
