Catherine Faber, Chief Financial Officer

Catherine Faber joined Case IQ in September 2026 as Chief Financial Officer. She brings more than 20 years of experience across SaaS, mergers and acquisitions, accounting and finance.

Before joining Case IQ, Catherine served as CFO for high-growth technology companies including Uscreen, AdHawk, and Everactive. She has led finance organizations through pivotal stages of growth, including turnarounds, restructurings, capital raises, rapid scaling, and successful exits. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at GTCR, Glanbia, and KPMG, where she developed deep expertise in private equity, strategic planning, and transaction execution.

At Case IQ, Catherine leads the finance organization and partners with the leadership team to support disciplined growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. She is a CPA and CFA Charterholder and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, as well as a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois.

We asked Catherine about her background in finance, her tips for those who want to build a career like hers, and why she was drawn to join Case IQ.

What made you interested in finance?

CF: "I was drawn to finance because it sits at the intersection of analytical problem-solving and real-world decision-making. I enjoy taking complex information, finding the story in the data, and using it to help a business make better choices. Over time, I’ve come to appreciate that finance is not just about reporting what happened; it is about helping shape what happens next."

What career advice would you give to anyone pursuing a finance career?

CF: "Build a strong technical foundation, but do not stop there. The most effective finance leaders understand the business behind the numbers: the customers, the product, the people, and the operational decisions that drive results. Be curious, ask thoughtful questions, and look for opportunities to partner with teams outside of finance. The ability to turn data into clear, practical recommendations is just as important as the ability to analyze it."

Why did you decide to join Case IQ?

CF: "I was excited by the opportunity to join a company that is solving meaningful problems for its customers while entering an important phase of growth. Case IQ has a strong portfolio of products, a talented leadership team, and a clear opportunity to help organizations manage investigations and compliance risk more effectively. I was particularly drawn to the combination of ambitious growth plans and a culture that values thoughtful execution, collaboration, and accountability. It felt like a place where I could bring my experience building and scaling finance organizations while helping the company create long-term value."

Verity Blair, Regional Vice President of Sales (UK and Europe)

Verity Blair joined Case IQ as RVP of Sales, based on Europe in July 2026. She brings six years of experience at NAVEX, where she most recently served as Regional Vice President of Sales for EMEA and APJ. Earlier in her career she was Vice President of Sales at Lextegrity, a company Case IQ acquired in 2025.

Verity has 20 years experience helping companies to use data and technology to mitigate risks and has worked with hundreds of companies in recent years to improve their approach to managing key compliance risks using technology. She's excited to be part of Case IQ's push to grow its presence in Europe, working with her team to help companies deploy software that supports through the full journey from identification of risk through to resolving it.

We asked Verity about the AI trends excited her the most this past year, what she foresees for 2027, and why she chose to join the Case IQ team.

Looking back on 2026, what AI compliance trends excited you the most?

VB: "A shift from compliance teams experimenting using generic tools to making meaningful strides using AI that has been built for investigators. But while AI can do the analysis, it can't be accountable for decisions. While we need technology to do heavy lifting in the context of investigations it is really important that humans remain firmly in control of the outcome."

What are some of your market predictions for 2027?

VB: "AI governance will need to be demonstrated, not just documented. While Europe has given more time on the AI Act, smart teams will use 2027 to get ahead of it. I also see that Boards and DPOs will start asking harder questions about how AI is used in speak up and investigations, and vendors who can't explain how their AI works will struggle. Finally, I expect European multinationals to consolidate. Running seperate tools for whistleblowing, case management and third-party risk is expensive and creates gaps, and I think 2027 is when more organisations decide fewer, better-connected platforms are worth the effort."

What drew you to join Case IQ?

VB: "Case IQ have been on my radar for some time, having been in and around the compliance and risk technology space for the last decade. Working on the commercial side of the business, I have always wanted to be where the best opportunity lies, and I have been noticing more and more Bluechip companies choosing Case IQ. Case IQ also helps compliance team across multiple areas of their programmes, and per my predictions, this is only going to become a more important requirement for leaders who need more visibility across multiple risk areas."

We asked him a few questions about his predictions and reflections about AI and compliance and what drew him to Case IQ.

Looking back on 2026, what AI compliance trends excited you the most?

BJ: "I was excited by the transition from 'black box' AI models to ones that require mandatory explainability and comprehensive audits around algorithms and agentic decision making, the shift from LLM only to full agentic workflows, and AI governance transformation from an IT department responsiblity to a Board and Audit Committee-focused control."

What are some of your market predictions for 2027?

BJ: "In 2027, I think we'll see continued higher spending on AI and AI adoption, and an accelerated shift from generative to agentic AI solutions and workflows (specifically from single-purpose use cases to autonomous multi-agent workflows and use cases).

What drew you to join Case IQ?

BJ: "I joined Case IQ for several key reasons. First, its brand is growing rapidly within the legal, risk, and compliance space. Second, the company provides a robust suite of products and solutions that are absolutely critical for modern legal, risk, and compliance teams. Finally, this role gives me an opportunity to leverage my background to help customers effectively assess, evaluate, and mitigate risk across their enterprises."
