What You Should Expect While Interviewing with Case IQ
Searching for a new role is exciting, but it can alsofeel overwhelming. Between updating your resume, preparing for interviews, and wondering what hiring managers are really looking for, it's easy to feel uncertain.
At Case IQ, we believe interviewing shouldn't be a mystery. We want every candidate to know what to expect, because the best interviews happen when everyone can have an authentic conversation.
Here's a look inside our hiring process and how it's designed to help you put your best foot forward.
It Starts With a Conversation
Your first interview with us will almost always be a live video call with someone from our Human Resources team.
Why video?
Because resumes only tell part of your story.
We'd much rather spend 30 minutes getting to know you than trying to guess who you are from a piece of paper. We want to hear about your experiences, what motivates you, what you're looking for next, and—just as importantly—give you the opportunity to learn about us.
Every Interview Should Feel Human
As you move through the interview process, you'll meet members of the team you'll potentially be working with. Our interviews are conversational by design.
Of course, we'll ask about your experience and how you've handled challenges, but we're equally interested in how you think, communicate, and collaborate. Sometimes we'll ask questions you've never heard before, not because there's a perfect answer, but because we want to understand your thought process.
Authenticity will always beat memorization.
More Than Skills: We're Looking for Hungry, Humble, and Smart
Every candidate moving through our process will complete a personality and aptitude assessment as part of our hiring process. There are no right or wrong answers, and it's never used in isolation to make hiring decisions.
Instead, it helps us understand how you naturally work while giving us insight into the qualities we value most at Case IQ:
- Hungry – Curious, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Humble – Coachable, collaborative, and open to feedback.
- Smart – Strong interpersonal judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Combined with your interviews, it helps us build teams that work well together and continue to grow.
We Want to See You Do the Job
Talking about your experience is important. Seeing how you approach real work is even better.
That's why every interview process at Case IQ includes a practical assessment tailored to the role you're applying for.
Depending on the position, you may be asked to:
- Present a mock demo or presentation
- Solve a business scenario
- Analyze information and share recommendations
- Complete a role-specific exercise
We're not expecting perfection. We want to see how you think, communicate, and approach challenges in a realistic setting.
We're AI-Forward . . . But We Want Your Answers
At Case IQ, AI is part of how we work.
We're continuously exploring new ways to use AI toimprove efficiency, solve problems, and help our teams work smarter. We encourage curiosity and experimentation, and we're excited to hire people who share that mindset.
That said, we also want to get to know you.
Use AI to prepare; not to perform. We love seeing candidates embrace new technology, but during the interview, we want your authentic thoughts and experiences. There's no need for perfectly crafted responses; we'd much rather have a genuine conversation.
Use AI to research our company, practice interview questions, organize your thoughts, or build confidence before your interview. When it's time to meet, let your own voice, experiences, and personality shine through. That's how we'll get the best sense of who you are, and how you'll thrive at Case IQ!
Ask Questions
Remember, an interview is a two-way conversation.
You're evaluating us just as much as we're evaluating you, so don't hesitate to ask about our culture, team dynamics, growth opportunities, AI initiatives, or what success looks like in the role.
Curiosity is always welcome.
